Based in Eastman, we provide professional property check services designed to give homeowners confidence that their home is being observed, cared for, and monitored for visible concerns before they become larger problems. We offer two types of visits depending on your needs:

Home Watch Services
Designed for homeowners who are away from their property for extended periods. Scheduled visits allow us to observe the home for visible issues such as water leaks, storm damage, or system concerns and report findings so problems can be addressed quickly. Home Watch services are offered in three levels, Basic, Standard, and Premium, ranging from essential visits to full home oversight.

Visits can be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on your travel plans and the needs of the property.

Home Wellness Visits
Ideal for homeowners who live independently but would appreciate periodic property check-ins. These visits provide reassurance that the home appears safe and functioning properly, with a simple report provided after each visit.

Home Wellness Visits may be scheduled weekly, monthly, or quarterly.

If your property is located outside of these communities, we encourage you to reach out. Depending on location and service needs, we may be able to accommodate additional areas or create a customized service plan.

Home Watch Services

Designed for homeowners who are away from their property for extended periods, Home Watch services provide the reassurance of regular, in-person visits. These visits help identify visible issues early and give you peace of mind that your home appears safe, secure, and functioning as expected.

Hirte & Company offers scheduled Home Watch visits tailored to each property, with service levels designed to meet a range of needs, from essential oversight to more comprehensive home care.

Home Watch services are available in three levels:

Home Watch Essentials

Perfect for homeowners who want regular check-ins and reassurance while away

Standard

Home Watch and Access

Ideal for homeowners who travel frequently and need a trusted local point of contact

  • Secure key holding
  • Approved vendor access during scheduled visits
  • Mail and package pickup
  • Post-storm check-ins, when applicable

Premium

Full Property Care Oversight

Best suited for second homes, seasonal properties, or homeowners who want full oversight

  • Includes everything in Standard
  • Seasonal preparation and check-ins
  • Vendor coordination for routine maintenance
  • Enhanced photo documentation
  • Ongoing property oversight while you’re away

Home Wellness Services

Not every homeowner needs full Home Watch services. Some simply appreciate the reassurance of having a trusted professional periodically check that everything in their home appears safe and functioning properly.

Hirte & Company offers scheduled Home Wellness Visits for homeowners who live independently but would benefit from periodic property check-ins and an extra set of eyes on their property.

Typical visits may include:
    • Walkthrough of main living areas
    • Check for visible leaks or plumbing concerns
    • Verify heat and major systems appear operational
    • Check doors and windows
    • Look for storm damage or exterior concerns
    • Bring in mail or packages, if present

Visits may be scheduled weekly, monthly, or quarterly depending on your needs.

Home Wellness Visits focus solely on property observation and reporting and do not include personal care, medical monitoring, or household assistance.

Additional Services

Clients enrolled in Home Watch or Home Wellness services may request additional services as needed. Some of the services below may already be included depending on the selected service plan, while others are available as add-ons when additional support or coordination is requested. Available additional services include:

    • Mail and package pickup
    • Vendor meet and access
    • Vendor coordination and scheduling support
    • Enhanced photo reports
    • Additional structure checks (garages, barns, guest houses, studios)
    • Secure key holding
  • Home preparation prior to return

Visits Begin

Home Watch is a professional service for homeowners who are away from their property for extended periods. What are Home Wellness Visits?

Home Wellness Visits are designed for homeowners who live locally or independently but would like periodic reassurance that their home appears safe and functioning properly. These scheduled visits include visual checks of the home and basic observations such as verifying systems appear operational, checking doors and windows, and noting anything unusual. These visits are limited to property observation and reporting and do not include caregiving, medical monitoring, or household assistance.

What happens if you find an issue?

If we notice anything unusual or concerning, we’ll contact you promptly, share details, and discuss next steps before taking action.

Are you insured?

Yes. We are fully insured for the services we provide, giving you added peace of mind while we’re overseeing your home.

Can I cancel services?

Yes. Home Watch and Home Wellness services are flexible and can be canceled at any time. We’ll review any active scheduling or services with you when you’re ready to make a change.

Do I need to give you a key?

Key holding is available for clients enrolled in plans that include access services. We’ll discuss the best arrangement for your home during your consultation.

Do you coordinate with vendors?

Yes. When requested or included as part of a service plan, we can assist with vendor access and coordination. We’re happy to explain what’s included and help determine the right level of support for your needs.
